Dear all;

On oracle 11g 11.2.0.1.0 dataguard database open read run one years.

on jul month it report ORA-01410 ERROR

select count(*) from ccps_tracder

that is application report , don't exists in alter.log。

I had rebuild pk index on main database. that dataguard is ok.

One week after the other tables say ora-01410, and it is application say it, and no find any about it error in alter.log.

i had flash buffer cache fix it .

Bug 8740993
Abstract: ORA-1410 OCCURRED ON ADG STANDBY DATABASE DURING TABLE SCAN.

This bug applies to standby databases and occurs when the standby is re-applying DDL for table drops/truncates/shrinks. The buffer cache is not being updated for the new object numbers.

Fixed in 12.1, 11.2.0.2

I see it bug that database not drops truncates shrinks of these tables.

The dataguard database not open direct io , and it build vmware .

What is reason?

Set parameter

ALTER SYSTEM set DB_BLOCK_CHECKSUM=full scope=both;

ALTER SYSTEM set DB_BLOCK_CHECKING=full scope=both;

ALTER SYSTEM set DB_LOST_WRITE_PROTECT=TYPICAL scope=both;

open direct io

Did it prevention?

I would not think that changing those instance parameters will have any effect. You need to upgrade your software to the current patchset, as that bug report told you.
