hello experts,
is there any view in oracle for getting the total number of processes and currently used process in oracle? i am using oracle 11.2.0.1.0.

but it is not helpfull. it is not giving process info about my user.

Which process info? And which user?
V$PROCESSS gives you the info about the Oracle processes.
Join it with V$SESSION if you want some information about the user and the session.

All catalog views are described in Database Reference.
