It has no other purpose than this, don't use it for anything else.
What is your actual issue?

Hi Michel,

Thank you for your responds.

Actually just want to know the impact of this role.

The exp_full_database role can perform multiple schemas export at one time which would save time
else we have to go schema by schema export. This is what i know on export for exp_full_database role.

Yes, this is true.
What was the purpose of your first question?
Is it a concern about the privileges that grant this role?
Indeed, this role must be done only to trusted account and, in my opinion, its action should be audited.

Michel

So many things (that most likely depends on the version).
In 10.2.0.4, it has (plus some object privileges):
EXECUTE_CATALOG_ROLE
SELECT_CATALOG_ROLE
ADMINISTER RESOURCE MANAGER
BACKUP ANY TABLE
EXECUTE ANY PROCEDURE
EXECUTE ANY TYPE
READ ANY FILE GROUP
RESUMABLE
SELECT ANY SEQUENCE
SELECT ANY TABLE

It is a very powerful role that should be very seldomly given.

Regards
Michel
