Hai,

We have an Oracle Server database of Size 50 GB having 10 GB Data. And Planning to have a new Database Server of 200GB . So my question is after moving all the 10 GB data to 200 GB Database Server, will the performance of the system come down? Will it reduce the speed? Please guide me.

Regards,
Paules.

May or may not be.
All you plan to do is to migrate to another machine with bigger storage.

Unless there is a measurable metric involved, nobody can answer this question.

"u" is not a member of this forum, so if you wait for his answer you will wait for long.

The answer to your question is: yes, no, maybe.

Even with them no one is able to tell you what will happen unless the difference is so huge that there will be no doubt.
Only someone that has experience of this kind of experation AND on your environment might answer this.

Regards
Michel
