Hi All,

please need you's input on below question...

What is the scenario, we should use the new feature of 11g called-Pending Statistics.

Eg:-
EXEC DBMS_STATS.set_table_prefs ('SCOTT', 'EMP', 'PUBLISH', 'false');

Documentation says thatOracle

saving the new statistics as pending allows you to validate the new statistics and publish them only if they are satisfactory.
