Database is working fine, this trace file is created every night.

Today when i changed my SGA_TARGET to 2048 mb,from 2000 mb, file created previous night around 11:30 pm was over written by the trace file . My SGA_MAX_SIZE is 2048 mb.

My Database is working fine. Should i need to do anything

This is a known bug in 10.2.0.3.
You can ignore it or better upgrade in 10.2.0.4 or 10.2.0.5.

Michel

Hi,
If SGA_MAX_SIZE value is equal TO SGA_TARGET value then is it a normal thing or i need to reduce the size of of SGA_TARGET back to 2000 mb

I don't understand the question and the relation with the previous one.
You have, at any time, SGA_TARGET <= SGA_MAX_SIZE

As i described earlier when i changed SGA_TARGET FROM 2000 MB TO 2048 MB, the trace file with same error overwritten file of previous night.
That is why i am asking whether it has something to do with above.
