How Can We Get Hardware Information In Oracle Database 8i for example harddisk size,volume,processor etc. i want database run only specified harddisk

You can get with Java class.
Find one on web, embed it into database, wrap it in a PL/SQL procedure.
I don't remember how you can do it in 8i but search in the documentation (and maybe on the web if pages are still there).
