Hi,
Recently we are planning to migrate oracle 10g to 11g.
We are migrating PHASEWISE (Schema wise) as this is a 50TB of Production instance.
We are using Oracle Golden gate for this purpose.

Is there is any way that we can migrate oracle jobs from 10g to 11g?

Please advice...

Regards
P

What do you mean by Oracle job?
What do you mean by migrate them?
As far as I know, there is no difference between 10 gand 11g jobs (in the standard meaning of Oracle job object).

Hi,
The below is my actual situation:-

I have some scheduled jobs running at 10g.
I quired from dba_scheduler_jobs and got the below jobs:-

1. CREATE_AUDIT_TABLE_PARTITION
2. GATHER_STATS_JOB
3. PURGE_LOG

I want to migrate those above jobs from 10g to 11g.

What will be the procedure.

Thanks -
P

If they are your cutom jobs, I think there is nothing to do unless you do something specific to 10g version.

If they're your own jobs you should have scripts to create them.
Export and Expdp should export them.
No idea what goldengate does.

Gather_stats_job and purge_log are oracle created jobs that should already be present on the new db (or equivalent jobs).
