Hi,

I have oracle 8i installed on a Windows XP with SP2 PC. Everytime i start the pc the database is not getting started automatically however i need to start it manually using the svrmgrl command. How to autostart the database. please help

%SystemRoot%\system32\services.msc => OracleServiceXXXX service => right-click / Properties => Startup type: automatic.
