1. You cannot do SYSOPER or SYSDBA from remote computer
2. Forget it
3. You can connect SYSOPER or SYSDBA from remote computer

All is explained in Administrator's Guide.

Michel

But exclusive means we can grant sysoper and sysdba privilege to users and the users can connect from remote systems.Is it not like that?
Quote:

remote_login_passwordfile = EXCLUSIVE
An EXCLUSIVE password file can be used with only one database. Only an EXCLUSIVE file can contain the names of users other than SYS. Using an EXCLUSIVE password file allows you to grant SYSDBA and SYSOPER system privileges to individual users and have them connect as themselves.
