Hi,

I start my database and suddenly got this error:
ORA-00371: not enough shared pool memory, at least 72102521958 bytes

How to fix? I use startup command only and shutdown when shutdown the database. Any idea why?

Thank you.

oerr ora 00371
00371, 00000, "not enough shared pool memory, should be atleast %s bytes"
// *Cause: Init.ora parameter shared_pool_size is too small
// *Action: Increase the parameter value

Have you increased/decreased shared_pool_size?

Babu

Hi,
If you are using SGA_MAX and SGA_TARGET, then there is no need to set or update this value.
Otherwise check you init.ora file for the value of this parameter and as Gentlebabu suggested, increase this value to some higher value as suggested by oracle error.
