my associate dba has changed the sys/internal & dba role passwords and left. now i am unable to connect to the svrmgr. i would be grateful if sombody could help me.

See file pwd<sid>.ora placed in
%ORACLE_HOME%\database directory.
Usually
password is written there to start Oracle
automatically with starting of NT.

Hi,

You can run Orapwd utility again to give create new password for internal user.
