First off: start by reading the upgrade manuals
All necessary steps are well documented.

Upgrade on a test system first. Then test.

Do your applications still work as expected?

What were the steps you took?

Did you install a complete new RDBMS and then exp and imp the data out of the old database into the new one?
Or did you upgrade the software and then upgraded the database (the data)?
Or ....?

If you do not tell us what exactly you did it's quite hard to say anything.

Do you want to know how to do the data validation? Is it what you are asking for or something else?

>now we shift our database from 9.2.0.8 to 10.2.0.4
why upgrade from one obsoleted version to a different unsupported version?
Why not upgrade to a supported/current Oracle version?

@BlackSwan : Well, I don't agree with your statement. Because people asking such questions in this forum might not be the stake holder or owner of the DB or application. They might just be developers who are working like any other employee.
Upgrading from 10g to 11g with an enterprise edition licence is not a developer's decision. It is something which the management has to decide.

>Well, I don't agree with your statement
I did NOT make any statement.
I asked two QUESTIONS!

>people asking such questions in this forum might not be the stake holder or owner of the DB or application.
Then again the OP might be stake holder or owner.
But the answers to my question are independent of the position of the poster; so I fail to understand why you interject position.
